these are by my door way.about a month or two ago,maybe more,i put some contamed cake pieces there,and i've squirted spores and karo mycelium there,at that one spot,there are no other mushrooms aroundthe area,just that one spot.can anyone tell me these are good?please help me soon....

Try describing them to get a proper ID.

the gills are a tannish color,and the caps are a medium brown color.i never have .I apoligize,i don't reallyknow how to give a descripition.

Try this:

a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)
b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
c. Measurements of cap and stem.
d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
f. Spore print color (very important!)
g. Color that the mushroom bruises
h. Scent of mushroom

a.ny,usa.i placed contamed cake pieces in this area,along with karo myclium,and also spores.
b.gills:light tan,attached?(go straigh to the stem,they just look they got to the top ofthe stem?)gills...
c.itsbeenraining on them so they look kind oflike aborts,
d.stem:white/tan,seem brittle easy to break
e.cap:medium brown in middle,tan on the edges
f.can i do i spore print on these,i thought they hadto be mature?
g.does not bruise
h.smells like mushrooms i've eaten



its obvious what i am...new

There is a cap open in that picture, large enough to print. See what color it turns out.

I can assure you that they are not Psilocybe cubensis, and probably nothing edible either.

yeai'm trying to take a print.it just seems like a huge coincidence in myarea,there are shrooms where theyhave never grown before,there are no mushrooms growing outside that area,iput eq and b+ spores there along with mycelieum,and parts of contam and good cakes.it just seems odd thats all.its all inthat one area.right by mydoor exactly where i did it.

you're wanting to know if your spent cakes or whatever ....are growing from where you threw them ......you should already know what they look like... if they are not bruising blue then they are not the same mushrooms you were growing from cakes... period.. unless of course your were growing something other than an active mushroom(psilocybe cubensis) from cakes.. ok ................. ?
