No, he was not. At BEST he is enforcing them HIGHLY irregularly. Rocking coke into crack is OK, but a scientific synthesis isn't? "Illegal information"? What information is illegal? For those actually seriously interested in this issue:

The user Phreedom420 was discovered to be an illegal puppet account of the member SoopaX who gets banned alot for flaming and other violations of website rules. This wasn't a newbie with a valid point but another provocation by someone who gets chance after chance to better himself, but doesnt. A fake identity hysterically named "phreedom" to troll and disturb the peace, isnt that just sweet?

I deleted the thread because it was in violation of the rules.

When he kept on pushing in this thread the management found out he was in fact a puppet of SoopaX and the administration has made this ban a permanent one.

If we had known he was a puppet at the time of the thread he would've been permanently banned on the spot since puppets are not allowed and malicious puppets are particularly unwelcome.

His puppet nature had nothing to do with the thread being deleted, because that was for rule violation.

I assumed that it would be blatantly obvious why a DIY heroin manufacture thread does not fly, but i should've been clearer in the deletion notice which i will definately do the next time.

The person was not attacked but it was pointed out that he was insincere in his argumentation, and even his identity was forged.
That disqualifies it from being a Logical Fallacy.

The argument is already completely resolved and brought to light in this thread. His thread broke rules.

On this website several things go on that might be called into question

--Instructions on rolling a joint (manufacture of a Schedule I drug dosage unit)
--Plotting to commit another 9-11 (international terrorism)

Between these two extremes it is obvious a line has to be drawn somewhere. That is a gray area, obviously.

The focus of this website lies on educating the drug consumer so that they can make more responsible choices about what they use and how.
We are a psychedelic community focussing mostly on mushrooms and ethnobotanicals.

I have put out a tek for how to clean cocaine on the user level. Even though I thoroughly dislike the drug my motto in this case is "if you take poison, it'd better be pure poison".
That's harm reduction for the user: you are showing how to clean a hard drug so that potentially harmful additives are separated.

A thread intending to solve the practical problems of making your own toolshed heroin has nothing to do with harm reduction. And it has nothing to do with psychedelics nor private consumption. And it has nothing to do with google because google will turn up dozens of hits if you fill in the right keywords.

If you grow your own pot or mushrooms you are turning your back on (potentially harmful) street drugs in favor of (potentially safer) homegrown.

If you are making heroin, in the western world, you likely are talking about converting (safer) pharmaceutical opiates into street heroin (potentially harmful)

If you want a way to test and purify street shite into higher grade heroin and search & google really do not help you then I might spend some hours to find a method to purify a drug I totally disapprove of, and likely others will do the same thing.
THAT is harm reduction: converting an evil into a lesser evil.

Its nonsense that opiates cannot be discussed in ODD. The place is loaded with hydrocodone, oxycodone, dilaudid, demerol, morphine, opium and, yes, heroin threads. But they have to be discussed in the spirit of the Shroomery, meaning striving for more responsible use and safer, cleaner, better doses and use.

The moderators do not lock and delete threads at random, thought is being put into it. It's the quality of management x members interaction that makes the Shroomery the place to be and not because "anything goes". Because no: not *everything* goes and the management always has the final say. The admins make the rules and not the other way around. The fact that you like this place likely is due to the fact that it is a well-run website.

I read every post in this thread. The only thing I would call near imflammatory on his part was the "Fascist_Seeker" thing, and that isn't even that bad.

I always believed the imflammatory puppet thing was for trolls (Doser, etc.) and the like.
