Invitro pinning

Damn, growing mushrooms is hard, I've got 3 cambodian pf jars fully colonized for 3 weeks, I haven't birthed them 'cause of waiting for invitro pins but nothing, although I've got 8 puerto rican jars about 80-90% colonized. My questions are:
Is the pf race the only one that pins invitro? What's the case for cambodian and puerto rican? Do they pin invitro? I've tried casings on 50-50 many times before but they got plaged with green mold. Should I birth my jars without pinning first? I want to grow on pf cakes before trying again on casings.

Nah .. Growing mushrooms (At least p. cubenis) isn't hard at all. Sounds like your doing good so far w/ your jars. A freind never saw invitro pinning w/ any of the strains she grew her first time around (thai ks pink buffalo, b+, treasure coast) After her jars were 100% colonized, she introduced them to light 24/7 and waited a week. No invitro pinning ... She said fuck it, im gonna birth these cakes. Well they all ended up pinning/fruiting 3-5 days later. I dont think a lack of invitro pins is going to be a show stopper, just birth them to a terrarium and make sure they get good fresh air exchange, humidity and light from above. You'll eventually get fruits.
