San Pedro dosage question

Hi everyone, How much T. pachanoi should you prepare for a fisrt time experience. There is an FAQ in the erowid pedro vault that suggests 3/4 to 1 pound fresh weight. Does that sound about right? I'm also aware that san pedro potency can vary quite a bit.
Thanks for your help.

wow, I never thought I would be one to say this to someone, but...
use the search option (at the top of your screen). There are many, many, many, many manymanymnaymnayajmakua threads about this subject.
Plus this belongs in "General Questions" not "the Pub".
you're new and it's an honest mistake. Welcome to the shroomery. Once you learn your way around here you will be able to find anything...

I did use the search function. Write in San pedro dosage or pachanoi dosage and see what comes up. I looked through a lot of the posts and nothing specific came up. I dont fancy going through 500 posts. Yes I changed the query around many times as well and still found nothing particularly useful.
All I really wanted was a yes or no answer to whether 3/4 -1 pound of fresh cactus seems an OK dosage for a first time.
Thanks

I generally use 8-12 inches of pedro. I know thats imprecise, but I've never weighed it, and alkaloid content varies so much that precision is basically impossible. Its tricky stuff to dose, but forgiving.

Thanks. i have a really solid cutting so that's why I was interested in weight. I think I might try a piece somewhere in the vicinity of 8 inches.
