what do you put inside your bong chamber?

so me and a friend of mine bought a triple chambered bong tonight. we just filled up each chamber with ice cold water, and it was pretty amazing.

i've heard about people filling them up with cold water, and then another chamber with hot water, etc.

any suggestions? there's just so much to do with 3 chambers!

A friend of mine had the idea to throw in bacardi 151... I told him not to if he valued his life.

But putting in something like beer can get you pretty fucked up.

put ice cubes in all 3 chambers, it will feel like you're just inhaling cold air.

don't bother with ice cubes... Put the filled bong in the fridge for a couple hours. Before I go to work, I change the water and chill it for 6 hours for a great smoke when I get home.

It probably doesn't make that much of a difference, but THC is alcohol soluble, and filtering it with booze or something could leech some of that out.  I like cold water :thumbup:  (Or in the winter, filling it with snow)

use crushed ice or snow. It'll offer more surface area than ice cubes and melt quickly enough to provide water for filtration.

Yes here in Montana the only nice thing about the winter is puting snow in the bong, and doing solar hits, with a snow filled bong.....

I think using warm water helps the smoke to absorb into the lungs faster since the water molecules are moving faster. But cold water is so nice. Either way I don't think there is too huge a difference in quality of stone. Different strokes kinda thing.

It's all placebo, pal. If anything, the alcohol will make you less stoned because it absorbs everything. That, or ignite if you guys are really unlucky.

Sometimes I put hot water in my bong. Just warm enough that it's steaming, but now people are saying that manganese is bad for ya... what's new. It makes it pretty smooth going down, just like cold water would. :shrugs:

if it has ice catchers, put ice in it. i used to put my bong in the freezer for 15 minutes when the water was in it, then when it came out i put ice cubes in it. that's the way to go

If it doesn't have ice catchers DON'T drop ice cubes down your brand new bong! That's a great way to shatter the chamber at the bottom. The ice is extremely slick against the glass, and it will build up speed as it slides down the tube, breaking through the chamber at the bottom. If you must put ice cubes into your bong, turn it sideways so that the ice cubes slowly drop down. I speak from personal (shitty) experience, and I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Warm water is supposed to go in the first chamber, since its best at filtering out tars, then cold water in the second and ice or snow in the third..I'd probably put ice or snow in the second and third.
