As long as you're not trying to bake the place out, cracking a few windows before you spark up and keeping some incense burning usually takes care of the smell for me within 2-3 hours. Hope it was a good trip

Yeah, do the whole spoof thing. It always worked for me. Just take an old toilet paper roll (or even better, a paper towel roll) and put fabric softener sheets inside it, lika whole shitload of them. Then just exhale the smoke through the spoof. Viola! It smells like drier sheets in your room. I mean, i have never tried this with marijuana, but it always works well when I am smoking tobacco out of my buddy's 5-foot bong. Here is another tip: when all that tobacco and/or legal herbal smoking mixture is burning when your are between hits or passing it to your legal-aged friend, put your thumb over the bowl head so the excess smoke does not go out into the air. Combine these two techniques with a good fan/air circulation system and you are good to go. Be careful though, unlike marijuana, tobacco is physically addicting, so know what you are getting into:) Peace

not necessarily a dead giveaway. depending on your parents. if your like me and have been buring incense forever your parents should think twice. oh well. its my method, it works for me.

Here's my setup: I have a small rectangular space heater (about 8" x 10") with a no-heat fan setting, and a window that slides up vertically. I just stick the heater in one side of the window, on the sill, facing out, close the window onto it, hold whatever you are smoking near the fan so smoke gets sucked out and exhale into the fan. I smoke cigarettes in here every day like that, no poblem. The only disadvantage is this gets cumbersome with more than one person at a time...

i advise everyone to try the dryer sheet in paper towel tube trick. it doesnt cost anything!
i used to only smoke outside, and i have a door outside in my room so its not a hassle to get outside.
now i can smoke freely inside with no smell. i know i stink less too because the smell is never anywhere except your lungs. gum is good enough for that.
i like reclining in a comfy chair way better than standing out in the cold.

If you're trying to hide the smell of the smoke, get some air freshener and spray it. Smoke hitter rods, bowls, sneak-a-tokes, whatever and just hold the smoke in until it is no more. It'll get you higher and less smell. Also, cover the bowl with a lighter or thumb in order to prevent excess smoke from escaping. Works great if you are down to the last of your shit too.

Ah yes, the condense-the-tar-and-shit-in-your-lungs method.

its been said that bongs are actually counterproductive from a health standpoint, as they require you to smoke more to get the same effect, countering the filtering effect of the water.

when i open my windows, the smell of weed goes away within few hours if im sitting right next to them, but recently i was *busted* by my mom for smokin cigs in my room--the smell apparently stayed through cologne and open windows and fans. luckily she really didnt care and just said shed rather me smoke cigs than pot--which i do n e way but not at home anymore

I put a heavy blanket over my window and hold it there with tacks. Then go in between the window and blanket and blow all smoke throw the OPEN window!!!!! works great for ME...NEVER GET CAUGHT
