An OTD Request

With OTD being jammed between WAF and the Culinary forum, the traffic is has been receiveing is miniscule.

I understand putting a post or time limit before a user comes into OTD, but what is the logic for hiding it at the bottom of the page?

Is there any way OTD could be moved back up by the Pub, like it used to be? There will be no harm to come out of the move, plus it will increase traffic to OTD which will make many (including myself) happy.

The bottom of the community forums is the logical place for it, since it is the Off Topic forum where you go when you don't have anything to say on topic in the plethora of other forums.

What is the Pub for? It seems almost exactly the same, but more light-hearted.

I think it really matter where it is located, since very few people actually venture to the bottom on the page.

By that logic since it's a catch-all for everything not encompassed or allowed in other forums it should be displayed more prominently.

I'd have to disagree. OTD isn't just a place where a post goes when it doesn't fit any other forum. It is a social forum, much like the pub but with an entirely different flavor. It doesn't make sense that two forums that are so closely related are seperated.

its not going to happen,
Anno thinks OTD is a blight to the shroomery.
honestly, with the "abuse" of scat & discusting pix,
i dont blame him. but we all know thats not why he hates otd.


i dont even like posting there anymore.
i have my own reasons, one of which is post expriration after 45 days.
if im going to spend time in my life on the shroomery,
i want to be able to search posts from the past to see where
i was at in life back then & see how much ive changed..etc.
