I want to be christian
    #4201052 - 05/20/05 06:48 PM (18 years, 10 months ago)

I fall in love with christian girls for their mental strength, will-power, cleanliness, and embracement of femininity. But I am a quasi-atheist and i can't deal with the badgering of religion from their parents. I usually just say "amen" after everything, but I end up bailing. Someone tell me how to accept jesus in my heart or whatever, I think i will seriously have to believe in this shit if I want the girls of my dreams.

You don't have to actually believe it. You just have to live in constant fear that it might be true. That'll set you straight.

Reading that was almost eerie. I went through the exact same dilemma. I've learned to be passive enough to make it work. I am currently with an amazing Christian female. Besides the occasional parental theist investigations and the desire on her part to have me read Christian literature now and then, it's all good.

Read my post.

Pretend like you buy it until she's deep enough in love with you that the realization that you are slightly skeptical will not cause a break up.

Never present yourself as an atheist, but instead as "confused".

He's right too, speaking as a former Christian girl. They totally dig the "confused but searching for the truth by turning to Christianity" thing.

don't be something you are not..it will never work.. religon is not for me, am I am mormon..I am definitately not religous..besides in a lot of organized religon a lot of then are hipocrites..and do the same thing that non-christian people do..
I don't go because I know how I am and accept and enjoy the way I live..in the moment.
I like to trip and discover different states of mind and instant pleasures..ahh..but being sensible about it as well..
Damn I need a beer, but I will wait..I over spent too much this week..
oh well, I will go clubbing next paycheck..or next week, but i can't bring too much money with me to spend.
Maybe I'll find some sex on the net..but being sensible about it..
It has been a while since I fucked it needs to happen, after all I jack off 5 times a day or more..

Maybe that's my problem, I always had the 'confused Christian and asking to many questions and searching for the truth' thing going on but that just made me become a Buddhist. I guess that's just the opposite. Not real sexy.

Hmmmm, Christianity. I personally believe that every faith has something good to teach, and if it helps people get through the day and live life happily, then more power to them. But I dunno... don't go seriously converting to something you're not sure about just for a girl, man.

Of course that's just my 2 cents. The decision is yours alone.
