Question for you all...
If you are using a glass terranium could you put vermaculite on the bottom below the wire mesh to collect water and retain humidity? And if so, how often should you replace to avoid bacteria. Since I have your attention one more question...beore mixing substrate and using terr. what should you use to clean mixing bowls, measuring cups and ter..etc.?
Thanks

Just use perlite in the bottom, does better than vermiculite for a humidity device. My friend uses a 10%bleach mixture .(water and Bleach), then Cleans them in the dish washer, then a final rinsing with straight H2O2 .:)bluhoney
