fuck shit ass......I recently paid a visit to this park here in kirkland, wa (near seattle) where last fall I found lots of ps. cyanescens......well, again I found a crapload of them, but every last one of them was covered in this green mold shit. What a waste. What the hell happened to my beauties? Why did nature sabotage them? I guess no one really cares about my little problem, sorry to bother you but I'm bored..........I would post some sad pics if I had a digital camera or if I knew how to use my scanner..........so does this shit ever happen to anyone else? You stumble upon trips and trips worth of mushrooms but you can't eat a single one

yo dudes I'm not sure where you guys are from but if you live near seattle or kirkland, just mosey on over to juanita beach park and pick some of these moldy beauties for yourself. 100% psilocybe cyanescens.....trust me I picked them in the exact same spot last year (there's actually way more this year, but too bad they are fucked) and I ate them. They weren't very strong though, but they definitely worked. I just had to eat a lot.....anyways, I'm an experienced shroom gatherer and I know what I'm doing here (well, okay not exactly...) but cyanescens are quite unmistakable (the look, shape and feel of them [ very,thick stems and caps], and the smell....even when they are moldy). Just ask that famous shroom guy, what's his name.........mj something or other.....he will know.....have a shroomy day fellas.

Well if they were cyans, you would have to eat very little (comparatively, of course as they taste like shit and a little seems like a lot).
Cyans are one of the most potent, and regarded as the most potent species in the world by some people, so I f you had to eat a lot to trip, then they are not cyans.

by a lot I meant I had to eat a lot for cyanescens-- I had to eat about 5 or 6.........besides, different mushrooms sometimes have different potencies (some cyans are stronger than others, just like some cubes are stronger than others, just like all mushrooms..........if you people knew anything about mushrooms you'd know that cyans start growing in september sometimes, and definitely in october (which is now) so just use your brain people. If you still have doubts then I can mail you guys some moldy shrooms.....I don't think it's illegal if they're moldy..........or I can try to scan them......frankly I don't know why I'm wasting my time with you retards........

Psilocybe and psilocin are illegal, even if they are in the form of a moldy mushroom. Go get a camera, take some pictures, get double prints, send half of them to me, I will scan them in with my very cool scanner and upload them. I will then send the pics back to you.

Hey, Typingwords!!!!!!! Yeah, the National Audobon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms does in fact say that they fruit from Sep-Nov! OK, this can be possible.ONLY considering the possibility of the heavy rains and cold weather coming early, say, in September. Well, there's been almost no rain in the PNW since May. Man, I'm sure that cyans have been found in September, once upon a time. You have to consider that just because a book says a mushroom's growth is month?-month?, this doesn't make mother nature do her thing. Books have nothing to do with growth of mushrooms, man! Not at all!
BTW, many of us are, in fact, EXPERIENCED mushroom hunters and KNOW what we are typing about!!!!!!
It may be different if you were around awhile and we got to know you, then one day you get pissed and call us retards!

Well levi and pyro you did a pretty good job of expressing everything i had to express to typingwords. I would advise this typingwords fellow to get some pictures posted on the board asap so that he can prove up retards wrong.
I am not to upset by this whole incident, in fact i think i have realized something that will put this whole thing into perspective. Typingwords is our good friend "smallputrid' "idospree". You guys know, that fucker who is always posting about finding clearcuts of red blue and green liberty caps and other assorted crazy shit. Hes just trying to get a rise out of us during this time of much frustration due to the lack of shitty weather so our precious shrooms can grow.
So with that behind us lets all light up a doob and sit back, relax and wait for this fuckhead to get a new username so he can annoy us again, but as long as the doobs are still burning its gonna be hard to get annoyed.

Hehe, when he acted like he knew what he was talking about by calling everyone in this thread retards, some of these people very experienced hunters (not myself), that was the time I knew I should say something. I just took it personally as I was the last to post beforehe said that. I know it wasnt personal in the slightest, and if it was I wouldnt care because I am not an experienced hunter, but that he would call other peopl who know more than him that, that pisses me off.

okay guys, here's the deal. I was not calling everyone on the post retards. I was calling cardboard and pyro retards and I had a damn good reason to. If you go back and read the beginning of the post, you'll see that all I was trying to do was tell people about what I found because this is the mushroom hunting forum and I went hunting and found some cyanescens. I wasn't trying to start an argument or anything. YOu are the ones who started saying all this shit, trying to tell me that I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. Why are you starving for a fucking argument so bad? Can't you just read what I had to say and say ok cool, instead of starting all this shit? Have any of you even ever found any cyanescens before? Probably not. You probly just read about them in a book and now you think you know everything about them. By the way, I do not know everything about mushrooms and I am aware of this, but I do know about the mushrooms I've picked (and eaten). So yes, I know about blue ringers (stuntzii), ps. cyanescens, and liberty caps. I will never mistake any of these mushrooms for anything else, I guarantee you. so sorry, levi fag, I won't be eating any galerinas; by the way, it's easy to tell the difference between them and blue ringers. And whenever I find a funky looking blue ringer with a brown stem or something, I always throw it out just to be sure. So anyways, if any of you guys live in kirkland and you went hunting for cyanescens lately and didn't find any, then you can talk, but otherwise shut your fucking mouth. Everyone who replied to this post is a fucking retard, by the way. And I'm not going to change my name; maybe that's something you little pussies would do.

Actually for you information typingwords i have found a BUNCH of cyans in the past, not this time of year tho, normally more in the summertime. I usually find them growing next to the cubensis down in the parks in seattle, they are pretty neat. Actually i am being very sarcastic.
p.s. you have not, i repeat HAVE NOT found any cyans this year, they require something we like to call "rain", you may notice it falling from the sky sometime, it makes things wet. When things get alot of rain and really wet and its cold enough then cyans and other psilocybes fruit and make magical mushrooms but until that has happpened you are still stuck being a worthless liar and finding nothing and saying it was something. That would be a good modest mouse lyric.
Keep finding them cubensis typingwords!! haha
