Excellent find, whatever the hell they are! I'd concur w/ MJ that they look more like baeos than cyans (greenish-grey color as opposed to caramel, incurved margins, gill spacing) but on the other hand I've seen a lot of baeos & NEVER in that kind of dense cluster--always just kinda scattered here & there. Could this be some new in-between "mystery" species?

Those things look like they might kick ass, though. Please let us know if you try a bioassay.

All the pictures are missing from the post.

And I remember them they were typical baeocystis shrooms. I will now go back to Astymees post and post some.

Seriously, we should go ahead and put this in effect. Evertime I come here I see a really interesting thread or two and get all excited only to realize the post is 2 years old and the users don't even post here anymore. Its annoying.
