religious legal loopholes?

Im sure someone has posted about this, but i couldnt find it.

Prequel: I know that the majority of us can take shrooms at our own leisure, without hardly ever having "The Man" bust up our shit. I also understand that the squeeky wheel is the first to get the oil, but I still sometimes wonder about religion legalizing shrooms for some, as im sure it does.

I always feel/say that the shroom is my church and im sure many on this forum feel the same way. The way native american tribes (some) can legally grow and use peyote is because it is part of their religion, and was BEFORE a law was made illegalizing it.

So, I am sure that there are a few religions which can be applicable to this, does anyone know of any? and does anyone know about the legalities of this? or any court cases? or precedents?

The laws exist without restriction, as denoted by the use of peyote through Native American belief.... it's (the governments)definition of a religion is "ill" and it can be used to cause as much harm as benefit. The government can't legally circumvent the use of ayahuasca due to similarities with laws in place and religious exemptions... however they can attempt to play with the double standard, but I gurantee you if anything is passed, it will be turned over swiftly (assuming a good lawyer is working on it).
