You need to find somebody to talk too, and not just anyone, you need to find somebody who has a good heart and will really listen.  I've talked to a couple psychiatrists(didn't help me figure out my problems, only said stop using drugs(which is good advice) then pushed pills down my throat, they offered no real help), and counslers, good people, but they just couldn't connect with my problems. 

Recently I started taking homeopathic medicines to try and help out with fixing my problems and I talk to the Dr. who presribes them too.  When I first talked to this guy I felt kind of defensive, because he seemed too nice about listening to my prblems, getting deeper into my problems, and genuinly wanting to help.  Just something about this guy that is almost comforting to be around, he just sends out lots of good energy.  Just talking to this guy twice has made me feel better than all the other people I've talked to and he isn't a professional in this sort of thing!  I think that shows that it really depends on the person your seeing to fix your problems, not what they specialize in.

Rolling is right man, sometimes it helps to focus on other people outside of ourselves when life gets to be too much of a burden to handle. Maybe get out in the world and see people that are confined to a wheelchair for life(or worse) and your own situation won't be so painful, you'll be happy just to be physically healthy and for the ability just to be able to draw your next breath :smile:I wish you all the best no matter what your chosen path,and yes, you do have free will and can actively choose to turn your life around for the better. Hopefully you'll look back on this time in your life and see it as the pivitol moment where you decided to be responsible for your own feelings/actions  :sun: :heart: :sun: :thumbup: :thumbup: :smile:

Your view on life needs to be changed, and really only you can do this. You should really try new experiences and make drastic lifestyle changes.

For one, try diverting away from the school of thought that the value of life is dependent on accomplishments, love, work, money, and other people. I know it's a lot easier typed than executed, but if I hadn't changed my attitude during my teen years, I probably would have done a swan dive off a skyscraper.

Remember, change the way you think of the value of life.
