A couple of pics...
    #3999421 - 04/01/05 09:27 AM (19 years, 1 day ago)

Well, Spring has sprung again, and things are starting to grow! So, I thought I'd get a few pictures of some of my stuff now, and update it as the growing season goes on...
Anyone else got pics of their stuff to share? Come on, lets get some eye candy together!

This is an atropa belladonna that was not allowed to die back over winter. Instead, I kept it dormant inside:

This is a belladonna that was planted out in the ground and is now growing back:

Some belladonnas in pots:

Some delosperma bosseranums. This was taken a few hours after they were transplanted, and they're kinda droopy. They look much better now! They're three months old:

Some delosperma cooperis. These things were left outside, and actually got snowed on! They sure are hardy:

Three month old bridgesii seedlings:

Peruvianus seedlings, the same age:

My last surviving salvia is fighting back after being looked after by my parents for two months!

My caleas were also looked after by my parents, this is the last one I have alive, but it's doing well now:

Peyote graft and some seedlings:

Older peyotes:

Pleiospilos bolusii (the pointier one), P. nelii (the rounder one) and a three month old sceletium:

A pot of P. neliis, and some more P. bolusiis:

Some pereskiopsis cuttings that I'm rooting:

Some psychotria viridis plants:

I have a few more, but they'll have to wait until my camera batteries are charged. So, that's all for now!

Edit: also, the results of my pachanoi chopping late last year. The shoots are going to be grown here for a while longer, the rooted cuttings are going to be planted out on my bit of land in Spain when I go out there on Tuesday:

Thanks everyone!

Here are my two khat plants, also not looking too good (same reason as my calea and salvia!):

A pachanoi on pereskiopsis:

One of my D. bosseranums, as you can see it is less wilted now:

Some trichocereus seedlings (all pachanoi, except for the one in its own pot, which is a peruvianus):

No-one else got any pics to share..?

Some new cacti. Oldmancactus.com is AMAZING, by the way...

Look at this guy's root. This thing is ~30 years old, maybe more! From the wild, they had to clear them out of the way to make room for buildings, and so that website got hold of them and is selling them CHEAP:

Here he is from the top. He's a full 4" accross:

A nice astrophytum asterias, 2.5" accross:

Astrophytum myriostigma, 3" at its widest point (from rib edge to rib edge):

In a day or two I should have some really nice mature peyotes, I'll post pictures of them when they get here!

(Now I barely have enough money left to eat, but hey, it was worth it for these beautiful cacti!)
