Why not clone with karo?
    #3955633 - 03/22/05 09:36 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

Wouldn't karo be perfectly fine for cloning cubensis strains?

Just chop out a chunk of inner stem and throw it in a sterilized jar and let her grow?

Yes, works well....Iamthewalrus was doing something similar...

Trick that he mentioned was dipping the stem chunk in H2O2 before placing it in the karo.

If you take a piece of cloned tissue from deep inside of the stem, there is no reason to use h202. I do all of my isolations with it. I love it any day over agar if your trying to get shit up and running quicker. But it doesn't hurt to have an agar plate handy while your going. It will come in handy down the road.
