 read however deep you wish, I didn't make that suggestion at all.. That's your inference on people... not my own.

If your interested in stringing someone along as you put it... do it, IMO you might as well just go get a mail order bride with that kind of thought... No need to string them along, as they are bought

"The Higher Water Table"... If you're in a bar... don't expect more then a shag...

I guess the amount college dominates my life, I haven't found these places.  Where do the intelects hang?  I don't want people thinking i'm a purist bible thumper, i smoke pot, get drunk once in a great while, but have realized that self control over all these things makes me feel like more of a person and just expect the same out of someone else.

slepingbigguy: jump on the bandwagon!

You have to find them, I'm just merely providing a suggestion. hang out with those that you esteem yourself capable of dealing with. Ultimately your dick, not mine, fuck whoever you please as far as I'm concerned.

Smoking pot, and drinking  no problem with that, their are a lot more people that are down to Earth then you might realize... You simply need to sort it out and talk to more people if that is the type of relationship you're attempting to pursue.

You got to look at yourself first. You say sex isn't that important for a mutual bond but you're ready to shun any girl that may have had sex with one or two people (and thought that they were their life partner) before she met you. She might be entirely willing to share your ideals and life but you'd shun her before ever getting to know her based on this one minor thing.

Open your mind. This doesn't mean pervert your beliefs but don't hold others to it as well. Obviously some women who has had 15+ partners isn't for you but don't hold your standards so high. Its the same as saying "I'll only date a model" and carries the same likelihood of happening. you may find that vrigin your looking for but she may not be a match either-whats more important to you?

Firstly, you need to stop taking sex so seriously. It's not a big deal.

Secondly, sex has nothing to do with respect and everything to do with the desire for pleasure (in most casees), or power over someone else (in some cases).

"fistly, you need to stop taking sex so seriously. It's not a big deal"

THAT is exactly my point, nobody takes it seriously, it's no big deal to everyone. Everyone I see just fucks and sucks their way in and out of many relationships, when things go sour becuase sex is what brought them together in the first place, they don't care what ever, Love for me is deep, not merely a nice tight beav or apple tits, and i think that is what most poeple love. They think they love the person but it's actually the sex and so many relationships fail. I can't juggle relationships like this, it's too deabilitating losing somehting loved. So I'm not gonna love agian until i find someone who is serious.

I have come to the same conclusion as you. Some may call it naive romanticism, but I would rather be a naive romantic than a cynical hedonist. I do not want to put myself through empty, meaningless relationships. I believe there is more to relationships than lust, desire and power/control. Sure that means on the surface I may appear to be lonely compared to all those around me shagging like rabbits, but under the surface it is they who are lonely rather than me.

i agree - i was forced into sex when i was 15 or 16... and was lead onto a string of fuck friend/user type relationships (with me being used as an attention getter/sex machine)... never did cum.

Anyways, along with many other factors, being empty and ditched when the time came.. i was thrown into a severe depression. Big deal, thats done - but i was alone for around 4 years.

At christmas, through strange circumstances me and my best friend ended up getting together and pursuing a *long distance* relationship.. we fucked, and magically i felt human again. I didnt have to keep my distance, everything felt lighter. I just was..

Anyways, being the jerk i am, i went to a party with a punch bowl full of mdma and ended up getting with this cute girl i used to work with. Wow! what a nite... it was great, and completely mutually hedonistic..

Think what you will - but i NEEDED that.. and as long as no one's getting hurt, transfering diseases, breaking promises, or going into things un-aware - whats wrong. More so.. whats wrong if you are aware, and just need to get laid?

The way i perceive girls, and relationships is VERY different now - not to say i wanna go shag sluts, i long for love too - but to acknoledge sexual desire has its benefits. When i was young i felt extreme guilt over the desires i felt - and this was apparent in my shallow feelings but accepting of sex, but lack of cumming.. Anyways, id rather have great mutual sex - than masturbate to porn.. id feel more guilty over mind raping someone..

Sex is natural - love is too - but niether must be perverted - they can be distinctly different entities.

Moving onto monogamy -

I have too examples in my life who have helped me reach sexual acceptance and liberation. One bi sexual, the other lesbien.

My friend Vee. Is a traveller girl, and horny as hell... she has a very healthy sexual desire and isnt afraid to express it, She's also married in an open relationship. Right now she's in peru and has a young boyfriend... and was shagging her host when she first arrived - she needs that... and there's no shame in it.

The second is Kayla. She's a lesbien and also a summer traveller - she's got many sex partners around the world and jokingly told her serious girlfriend on the phone "im not capable of emotion" - obviously she is.. but now isnt the time for love and commitment - sometimes when your alone you just wanna be held, or get off, or share dirty little secrets.. and to do so without social shame, or consequence add's a sufficient support system..

When your not staying in one place, when your not sure of who you are, or what can be, sometimes its nice to have someone to fall back on.

furthurmore - i feel generally unhealthy sexually/relationship-wise because im inexperienced and very anxious - in the right circumstances i can get past this, but in general i cant play the game... Its healthy to develop aware and intune with your sexuality.

life isnt a fantasy romance..

If sex is guilt free, mutual, and aware - its good for the soul and will bring you closer to people in general- it cracks the shell we block ourselves off with the rest of the world.
