PEAT MOSS FOR CASSING?

What kind of peat moss do you use for cassing?Also do the shrooms get any nutriants from peat or just moisture?While im here Im going to try a new substrate,how does this sound?Thistle,BRF,and verm.I wanted to try Thistle inplace of finch seed.Thistle has more nutriants than regular seed,has anyone out here ever used it before?ILL post my results./..PEACE OUT SHROOMERS.....
