Direct from the pastures is where I get mine, doesn't cost anything, but takes time and there is a risk that the farmer will catch me. It has worked great for me so far. I just grab the dry patties.
If you want to purchase it from a store, I can't help you there. I imagine that a gardening store is the best place to look.

Hey dude I got some quality dairy cow poop! No aditives or antifugus agents. You want some I will through it in a bag a ship it to you. These are preimo paties fat and a tiny bit decomposed. Straight from the pasture in my back yard. Maybe I should start a buisness.
PS you pay for shipping and handeling

dairy cows are fed a diet richer in grains than beef cows are. the higher amount of grain in the dung makes it ideal for spawn/3m's dung tek.

Lots of cattle raised for beef are also grain feed. The fact is that grain is suposed to make a better cut of beef! Dairy or not, poo is poo. In the wild I have found that shrooms don't grow very well on dairy cow poo. The reason being is that lots of them are feed suplements and hormones. Some farmers even feed there cattle with suplements that are antifungal.

Thats what i was thinking. I now people who raise beef cattle and they get feed grain in the morning and night. Dairy cows get all sorts of supplements.

I'm about 90% sure that the cow feces that I collect in fields is dairy cow feces. Dairy cows reside in pastures as well as meat cows, so I don't understand why one would speculate that if I gathered it from a pasture then it is not dairy cow dung. Above all, cubensis colonizing and utalizing the dung that I gathered.

It's like this, they have steer, chicken, and other manures at home depot! But they dont have dairy cow manure, that is what dioze has. I want to find a local source of dairy cow manure! Any stores that ordinarily carry manure might be able to find dairy cow manure any help on what stores to check for manure is basically what I'm looking for.
I have made a compost forumula that gets decent but not spectaculer results I can tell anyone who's interested what yeilds are and ingrediants...
Still I want to get some dairy dung.
So I can achieve great yeilds and such...

Actually, all dung is NOT equal. Also, if one is getting manure from a psture your are not getting dung from cows that are currently being milked--most likely. Dairy cattle rarely ever get pasture time when they are milking. When they are being milked is when they are being fed best. If you think that all dung is equal then ask Rhyche. Why do you think I can get results "as good" as his only using dung. Remember that is the key to the Dung Brothers recipe?!
