Ya...I read that....talking about adding lime to a casing layer.

I think all i can do is try different amounts like you said...

Actually some of the last few trays of dung Ive done are looking better. I pasteurized for a little longer on these and also made sure they werent too wet. Ill make a post in a few days with the progress...thanks for your help!

pH test kits are cheap i'd go grab one of those. Hell digital ones are 25$ some places.

Thanks...

My dung is looking up though....I have rhizomorphic growth goin on in a few trays now.

My problem was that I was pasteurizing a lot at a time and not letting it go long enough. Also, my dung was not dry enough when I put it in the trays.

Im hopin I got this licked...Trays should be done in a few days. I will post results.

ok meat...

The bins I did with the lime suck...i still have them and they are not really going much at all...the lime was not needed...just make sure the dung is NOT HARDLY WET at all before you spawn it...and also i found that past. for about 1.5 hours works better for me too...
