Got it from somebody on myspace.com . its pretty heavy...i'm posting it because i think people should think about their actions before they decide to hurt anyone.

Dear Diary

They told me that I was the ugliest thing they'd ever seen, and i started to cry.

I went home and Jake called me.

I thought the day would get better.

But he told me that long distance relationships dont work out.

He lived in California, and I moved to Michigan.

Then I told him I loved him and that I missed him.

He told me that the only reason he ever went out with me was because it was a joke, and he was dared to.

Then he dumped me.

We were going out for two and a half years!



November 9,1999



Today got a little better.

I miss jake so much you dont even know diary!!!!

But he even changed his number so I wouldn't call him.

But the most hottest guy at school asked me to the dance!

And those prissy girls that said im ugly let me hang out with them at lunch today.

It was cool!!



November 10,1999



I'm crying right now... turns out that hot guy was a jerk at the ance he poured his punch on me,

and those girls ripped my dress and everyone started laughing.

Then my grandma told me today that mom and dad got in a little car accident today at work.

They're in critical condition, they might die.

I can't write anymore.



November 11, 1999



Todays a saturday... but me and grandma were at the hospital all night long.

Dad died this morning.

Mom is going to live, but she's crippled for her life.

I wanna die too.

while we were at the hospital grandma found out that she had cancer in her stomach.

She has to go on chemo-therapy.

I cant believe daddy died.

I'm crying more then I have my whole life.

I'm in shock.

I cant write...I'm too tired.

I need sleep.



November 12





Daddy is not dead!

He can't be!

Its all a dream.

My life is perfect.

Jake still loves me.

I can barely write.

I'm crying too much.

I wanna die.

One day later, Lisa was found dead in her basement.

She had hung herself with a yellow rope.

I am her mother.

The reason I wrote this e-mail to all of you, is because no one else deserves what my daughter had.

Please remember that everyone needs love.

Everyone needs a hug everyday.

No one should be made fun of, or insulted.

No one deserves to die like Lisa did.

All of you please dont be the popular prissy girls that put other people down to make themselves feel better!

Please dont be the awful posessed date for the dance that makes people cry.

Now please do me the honor of sending this to as many people as you can think of.

So that way everyone will know not to be a jerk.

For some strange reason, I don't believe it. I think whoever is writing that is just trying to write a diary about the worst things that could happen in the shortest amount of time. I could be wrong, I just get that feeling.

I do agree with you though, people should think about what they say and do before acting saying or doing it. Think about how that'll hurt the other person, is it really worth it?

Holy crow, my bullshit radar's reading off the map!

I hate all of this forwarded bullshit, it's just annoying as hell. I agree people shouldn't be douches, but all of those sequences of events just makes me think that someone's got too much pity for themselves. If that's a real person and they want empathy from them, and if that forward email made it to my inbox them fuck em.

I really do agree that people shouldn't be so harsh, and that's why I watch my actions. No, I don't even watch my actions. I'm just not a dickwad to begin with, so it's natural for me not to fully diss people. I don't get why people suck so much. It's pretty lame. :smirk:

yeah, the story reeks of bullshit. however, I think there is a lesson that most of us can take from it. I'm not gonna go into any moral shit because that'd be hypocritical of me (as a human). I just think if we realized our influence, however miniscule, on other people and respected that influence the world in general would be a lot better. we're probably all guilty of participating in the social hierarchy of high school dealings even if you were at the bottom of the ladder. I don't think it stops at high school (or college where it's less prevalent save for sororities and fraternities) but is no longer as influential since most people go on about their lives and deal with work bullshit.

whatever, though. I just wish everyone would try to step outside of themselves to make one person's day better in whatever small way. things like that story (assuming it's true and realizing that stories like this happen every day) are bound to happen, and it's easy to place the blame on others. blahblahblah. just don't shit on other (undeserving) people no matter how fucked your life is. :shrug:

Seems like one of those crappy emails I get every so often. At the bottom they always say something like "Forward this to 10 people so her legacy can live on, or else she will haunt you for the rest of your life"

i was just trying to let everybody know that its not cool to fuck w/ people...they DO take it to heart and it DOES fuck their life...i've been there. yeah, i got it as a chainmail but attention to this cause is worthy imo.
