Grandma Gladys has passed away

I have no one else to turn to. No one to talk to. And I am afraid this is the begining of a horrible new chapter in my life. This morning, my beloved Grandma Gladys passed away.

Yesterday was her 97th birthday. We had a good old get together with my mother and my father. Gram had a couple of drinks throughout the night and I could tell she was getting a little tipsy. She even fell out of her wheelchair three or four times.

But she seemed to be under control. After consuming a couple of those pills she takes, she stepped out for a quick wheel in her chair.

She was crossing a quite street in the neighbourhood when she was hit by a speeding mac truck. It hit her from the side. The impact efficiently pushed her spleen through her upper left kidney at which point her bladder exploded.

The docter says that Gra'am was not killed instantly. Instead, she was left to die in a cold puddle in the gutter.

Oh God!
How can I possibly cope with this tragedy?

i have a hard time believing that a 95 yr old cripple that was drunk and on painkillers was able to go stroll around on her own will power. and even if she could why in the hell would you let her go by herself, sorry but this reaks of bull shit.

Sir, I said my grandma went for a wheel in her chair. Not stroll around. Are you really saying that old people can't drink? How would you feel if your grandma died?
