agar/peroxide conc.

Is this correct?:

50g antibiotic MEA
make up to 950mL w/dH2O
add 5mL 6% H2O2
make up to 1L w/dH2O

Would this then be safe to innoculate w/spores if poured into a sterile petri dish? Or would I have to steam/sterilise first?

Heres an equation for you:

Spores + H2O2= DEAD SPORES

You can use peroxidated agar for transfers, but it will kill all and any spores that come in contact with it. And you might want to mix up the agar, sterilize, then add the peroxide. Because peroxide is degraded significantly by heat among other things.
