Well maybe I mistated..I usualy only use it if there is a problem..I have used it for preparing substrate with no ill effect.. Thats why I said I use it for everything..For sterile purposes I do use alcohol or chlorine..

I whated to use H2O2 because I was under the impression it is needed with a casing to help prevent contams when misting? Have I been horrible mislead Anno?

I?s not needed unless you have a contamination, and even then its effectiveness against it is questionable.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your intent to use h2o2, I thought you were going to be using it to disinfect with.

I'm not sure about using it as an additive for water. Again, sorry if i fucked anything up for you.

Well I hope nothing is hurt, but Anno could I have hurt my casing or cakes? Or should I likly be ok and should just go back to water?

I have gotten so far I finaly had pins if I killed my cakes or my casings i'll break down and weep :-(

someone uses a blorp or two of h2o2 in every casing misting and has nothing but success. a blorp is approximately one or two glubs in a one quart spray bottle.

20:1 RATIO IS GOOD TO KEEP NASTIES FROM FORMING IN PERILITE OR HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEMS . This means you get 20 parts of water and add 1 part of the peroxide straight from the bottle .
In exact numbers this means if you have 200 mls of water put 10 mls of peroxide , giving you a 20:1 ratio . Make sense ?

PS For misting if you are paranoid you will get contams , just sterilize some distilled water and use this to mist with .
