I posted an agar/peroxide tek some time ago. Check it out. Few people really seemed to take interest. I use peroxide in ALL my agar plates, except of course for the ones I use to germinate spores. I believe that, in mushroom cultivation, peroxide has its most valuable application in agar. I strongly recommend for EVERYONE using agar to give this simple procedure a try.
