yeah. I like the hubba ledges their and the bank, and the HUGE ledge all along the side facing the road. Apparently most people around there don't skate that section a lot and last time I was there I was hitting that up and people were impressed because apparently not many people could get on the hubba ledges because they raised them and I was nailing shit on them. I ended up drawing a minor crowd watching me. I don't like groups of people watching me skate though I always feel pressured, but I try to not let it bother me.

haha, eat some shrooms and skate...that would be rather difficult i imagine. I've tried DXM and skateboarding riding off a curb felt like a 10 foot drop.

I used to think I sucked when I smoked weed and skated, turns out I think I am actually better when I am high. I think I apply myself better to skateboarding while high. If only it were like that for being high while donig school work.

I started skating last year, out of a need for something to do with all the spare time I had. Kind of gave up when winter came, but planning on getting back into when the better weather arrives.

I'll be skating to and from college, which is a 40 minute walk.

haha... i remember skating one new years eve on a shitload of ketamine... that was interesting to say the least :grin:

skateboarding is fun.... i like going down giant hills now.. you cant beat the adrenaline rush. too bad its all snowy round here

yeah, the only thing that sucks is when you get speed wiggles....i don't know if you guys call them something else but they are where you are going real fast and you pretty much loose control and your board starts wiggling, and it keeps getting worse. You can very easily fall, I've had some nasty wipe-outs going down hills. When you get a nasty speed wiggle I hate the feeling because it's either try to tame it (what i do is place as much pressure possible over the front hardware) or you can jump off but be prepared to run really fast because i'm going really fast.

My last nasty fall was at the bottom of a HUGE hill. Almost got hit by 2 cars...all because I ran over a sewer because I had to go between a car in the road and the curb, there was like 2-2.5 of room and i hit a sewer. I did a full front flip and got a rock jammed into my hand. A slide pretty far on the concrete.

i dont get speed wobbles from hills anymore... none of them are big enough around here for that.... i would always get them when i would skitch on the back of a car though... i got up to 45mph once then my board started shaking like crazy so i bailed into the grass

going behind a car is fun, yet dangerous.

last time I did it was down the road in front of my high school and the kid was stupid and pretty much floored it right away, I couldn't hold on long because he was just flying, I have no idea how fast he was going but I almost bust my shit, I had to bail.

My brother used to skate, doesn't anymore, and he hadn't skated in a couple years and we were at a red light on a busy street with my board, he decides to get pulled across the street on my board, he makesit all the way across the street (we were going like 15 mph) and there was a bump he hit and smashed his head onto the bumper of our car and fell.
