Music and Nature *together*

Have you ever felt that music and nature worked with eachother? it's like how certain music puts you in certain moods, I think the same goes with nature. I experienced the most amazing Music/Nature sighting in my life. On the 11th of this month I went to a Dave Matthews Concert. It was a dreary day but no rain (except a very very little drizzle that didn't really get me wet). Me and 3 friends (Kristen, Mike and Matt) were 15th row on the floor (open stadium). Dave and the boys played an amazing set, and then during the Encore Dave sang "But will it rain for you tonight?". Then he started his last song "Two Step". This song is AMAZING. I was just blessed to hear it and then about 3 seconds into the song BOOM! Lightening strikes and it POURS. The crowd went wild. I stood on my chair and danced in the rain while dave played, everytime a strong part of the song came lightening crashed louder. It was rainning incredibly hard, flooding the floor then it started to hail!!! For that time, everyone was dancing together with DMB, with each other , with nature. It was like a fuckin hurricane, the weather was so strong. Then, they stopped and it still rained but the rain and everything just COMPLETELY stopped about 1-2 minutes after the boys got off stage. Honestly...I don't think I will ever experience anything as powerful as that. Do you believe that music and nature groove together?
It's not like I've never done cocaine before but, on the whole, if I can't see dancing elephants, I'm not interested.

Wow! That's a cool thing that happened... Like a Hopi Rain Dance? ahaha! It's a musical universe - at it's center is a song bird that sings.

i absolutely believe that. music is the most important thing in the entire world to me. it takes me back to past memories. it puts me in a certain mood. it goes with the seasons. it goes with the weather. it goes with everything. there is no possible way i could live without music.

I beileve that nature can respond to emotions, and music invokes emotions, so yes, I supose I do believe that :)

Humans are rhythmic beings, we think in sync with our heart. The heart is the high hat in jazz.

Thats pretty cool. A few nights ago, there was this huge storm at 4am which woke me up. It was just about THE loudest thunder i had ever heard, and it was right overhead. I love the power of storms, the way nature just pops up and says, "Hey look at me, I'm still the boss around here"
and i couldn't awake from the nightmare that sucked me in and pulled me under pulled me under oh... that was so real
