Yeah i've done a bit of research but can't really find the answer to what i am looking for. Does anyone who uses Karo know if Peptone would be good for Karo in any way? If not what else would be good for it/help it grow? Anything would be appreciated, even links, I Read.

peptones the additive for agar right? I dont see it helping because the karo has plenty more food than agar.

It says that they are any of various water-soluble products of partial hydrolysis of proteins. So they perform hydrolysis and have proteins, wouldn't that aid the karo in getting more air, which would help it grow healther/quicker. Any one have any other opinions/facts/or just anything to add? thankx

It's good, but you don't need it.

Level teaspoon light dry malt (any beer brew supply place), dextrose (same place), simmer in quart distilled water on stove, until all is well disolved (easy boil, as in steaming, not rolling boil). Strain through double coffee filter into 3 pint jars, PC @ 15 pounds, 10 to 15 minutes (about 12 does it). You should be good to go. It will look like pale diluted beer.

well i did another karo last night..pc them at 10 psi half hour let it kool for an hour or so then threw it into the freezer..only 100 ml water so no worries about cracking.injected 2 cc of amazon..going to check temps in the incubator
