Mycelium Karo Spore Water Question

Ok, AFOF has successfully made his first  Mycelium Karo Spore Water.  He used 1/2 pint jars..  They were filled with 100 cc's of water and 1 Teaspoon of Karo Syrup, then PC'd for 20 min.  After 7 Days they all look great (Nice and cloudy).. His question is:  When Extracting this from the jars can he just suck up the water or does it specifically have to be the Mycelium Clouds?..    If so, any Idea on how to make this easier?..    When the jar is tilted to like a 45 degree angle, the clouds of mycelium seem to go to the opposite side...

Any help would be appreciated...

when your ready to suck up the liquid mycelium first shake the fuck out of the jar so that the mycelium is spread throughout the water.......i tried this using the honey tek and when i sucked it into my syringe i could barely see any mycelium tissue in my syringe but i inoculated anyways and i got damn good growth in about 2 days.

yes i support the 'shake the fuck out of the jar' method. breaks apart the mycellium well; unless you filled your jar to the very top. and if youre worried about breaking apart the tissue- you shouldnt be. thats exactly the purpose; to distribute more strains and mix it all up.

One More Question on this subject...

Could a person add a Tissue sample to the Karo Water (After PC'ed and Cooled, of course) ?  ..  This would make it an Isolate, right?

If you're careful and do it under sterile conditions, it would work.

Cool..  will have to give this a shot then..  Why dont most people do it like this other than using  Petri-dishes / Agar agar/ ect?..

it is easier to spot contamination on an agar plate than in honey water
