I spawned some pans to dung on Saturday, and it had colonized the top 80% after 3 days. I then put a thin layer of dung on top(yesterday). Today the top is almost completely covered with a very delicate fuzz. I've heard that pan mycelium can resemble cobweb mold, but this has me worried. Anyone have this experience?

That's your pan mycelia. It's unlikely that a contam would colonize that thoroughly and quickly.

Cow dung is very resistant to contamination if you pasteurized it correctly... If you didn't it mostly starts to stik bestialic. So if it doesn't stik, then don't worry...
