Lighting Problem!?

Only minutes ago I constructed my second fruiting chamber after the first had failed. Anyways, I just have a question on lighting. I have a light fixture screwed to the cover. There's one long kind of light bulb I put in it, and it's either 15 or twenty watts. It's all I have, and I have no extra money. The problem is, it isn't florescent. Is this going to be a problem? I don't think the "heat" it gives off will be too great. And with this kind of light bulb, how long should I give them light at a time?

12 hours of light. Keep a close watch on the internal temperatures. You may need to move the light up some. 75 Fahrenheit is what you want.
