Anyone who has picked pan subbs in the southeast have you noticed th white fibrils on the stalk? One guide describes them as hair like but the ones i've found don't have hair like things on th stalk. I have noticed if you look really close you see what might be some kind of fuzzy things but they are very small is this what people are talking about? Also i haven't picked any really big ones either usually smaller to medium ones.

The ones I'm finding only have a small amount of white mycelium at the base of the stem, in more dry conditions they seem to have more fibrils and it goes up further on the stalk than when in wet conditions. I'm finding a good amount of medium sized shrooms, sometimes some really big ones with baseball sized caps, and a shitload of small ones.
