ALMOST got caught (COPS)!! Wooh! Thank the shroom gods!

So last night was a pretty hard one. I was planning on going to bed around 9:30 with my girl.. didn't get much sleep the night before. It didn't happen nearly close to that. So we're in bed and she gets mad at me and she starts screaming and yelling non stop. I put myself in front of the door to keep her from leaving the apartment, so I could talk to her for a second.. that made it worse and she screamed louder. I let her go but by the time that happened... the cops were at the door. They came in and questioned us... and smelled a ''strong odor of marijuana''. Without searching our place, they asked us to ''give up our pariphanalia and marijuana''. She escorted one officer to our room and closet (where all our pieces are, AND THE GROW).. and started handing them the pieces. Luckily the lights were out on the grow and there was (BY GOD) a coat over the light and rubbermade. There were plugs leading into the closet (for the fish tank heater.. incubator... and the 25w light). They were within FEET of the grow op. and never suspected a thing. Didn't even look in the rubbermade!! So we both got cited for "posession of pariphanalia" but no pot was found so we're in the clear on that. Court date is the 2nd of December, wish us both luck.

I think the shroom gods were protecting us last night... either that or we're lucky ass bastards!! Thanks for listening.. this all happened between 1:30am and 3am... I still haven't slept I'm so shook up.

possession of paraphanalia? That is such a bullshit charge!

I was watching some stupid law show last night, probably one of those law and orders, with my dad (who is a lawyer) and one of the cops mentioned the charge "attempted manslaughter" and I started cracking up. attempted manslaughter! what a bullshit system.

I've had the same thing happen with family. Your older brother goes into your room to get your guitar for you and stumbles upon some cords... and follows them... to the closet... and like the nosey bastard he is, opens it up... and sees mushrooms.

I got the guitar and a "come smoke a cigarette with me after this song." Then he starts asking me about growing.

Come to find out, he's a bud cultivator.

Growing something must run in the family, no?

I hope your girl is worth this kind of trouble. Unless you did something horrible making a public scene isnt exactly a desirable trait in a girlfriend.

Sorry to hear about court, but very glad they missed the grow. Keep us updated.

Well holy s--t, I bet you were glad that coat was there. Reading this post is the closest I would ever like to come in contact with the police.

Why did the police enter your house? Did they have a search warrant, cause they can't just barge into your house and demand you give up your pariphanilia without a proper search warrant. Anyways man, i am sorry that happened to you.

don't ever let the cops in without a warrant, for a domestic disturbance the most they can do is ask to see everyone in the household to make sure there were no harm done to anyone during the mishap. also never take them through your house and most important don't admit to shit, if they say they smell marijuana then tell em to come back with a search warrant and find it. otherwise its none of there business what the hell they smell. look over the security section of the site. you broke all the rules of security while growing. but hey these things happen to all of us sometime or another, good luck in court.

Advice.......get rid of the a girl that hands bongs over to pigs.

Advice.......you should have talked to the pigs outside your apartment. Next time, open door, block doorway, step outside and close the door behind you. You have no obligation to allow them into your home.

Cops are allowed to search your place because someone is screaming? This summer my brother was robed at gun point in his apartment. The cops came in, they found his grow, and all his pot. But they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't have a warrant to come in. This is in Canada btw.

The grow is doing great. Checked up on the little babies this morning. The tally from last night's loss is as follows:
(1) 15in waterpipe
(1) 9in waterpipe "zong"
(1) clear cheap mini perk
(3) spoons (one glow in the dark)
(1) chillium
(2) slides (one glow in the dark)

Those were mah' babies they took away, as with everyone's ill taken pieces.. mine will be missed.

My girl is WELL worth it, and this kind of thing never happens.. I'm not sure what happened last night.. but I'm VERY happy I'm a man of peace and not violence.. I would never, and will never lay a hand on her.. no matter how ugly things might get. It's just dishonorable and wrong. Must have been a neighbor that woke pretty easily and got irritated easily.. because we weren't arguing for long at all.

They have a right to come in if they have probably cause. As soon as the door opened.. they said, they smelled pot. So that gives them cause to search the place if they get a search warrant.. which they told me they would have if we didn't cooperate. They DEFINATELY would have found it then! I'm still thanking God.

No offense Sammy, but I would have punched your girlfriend in the face and probably continued to do so over and over until she either blacked out or shut the hell up.

Man, I understand if you don't, but fuck she sounds pretty stupid to me.

What the fuck was she thinking when she just took them to the closet and gave them all your smoking equipment and nearly exposed your growing op?

I really hope you get off easy for that shit man. Here in PA paraphanelia is fine-able up to $2500 and 1 year in prison per piece.

I could never be with someone who was willing to risk both our freedoms just because of some stupid fucking moment of immaturity on her part. I would slap her ass silly and I've never even raised a hand to a woman.

She took them to our room because they already found one pipe in the living room just when they were questioning us about what happened last night. Seriously dudes, they would have taken out a search warrant on our shit.. and I'd be in jail right now. She made a compromise. She also opened the closet not all the way, and took out everything. She straight up lied to the cops and we still have our freedom for it. Every woman gets mad, and all the shit in the world isn't worth sacraficing love.
