Life's Aspirations?

Life is about accomplishments and progress.  Having life goals and setting out to reach them is yet another thing that makes people feel good about living.  What are some of your aspirations for life?  Do you know where you want to go, at least which direction? Are there any specific things that you want to accomplish, say a family, climbing mt. everest, backpacking through central America?  Please share. :smile:  :thumbup:

uhhh study something related to anthropology,philology,philosophy in copenhagen, dk.

learn to play the sitar and spend time doing yoga and meditating in india.

live in sao paulo, brasil, and learn to speak portuguese

try living on a self-sufficient type of farm (but somewhere tropical... hell yah :smile: )

that's about it for now... but i think it will take a while anyway :smile:

You know what, I already feel great about living. My life kicks ass!

I have almost everything I could ask for.

I have a great job/career, where I'm well liked, respected and have alot of fun at.

I have two absolutely amazing kids/girls. They are healthy, smart and they are loved and love me in return.

I have a car

I have money

I have friends

I have the shroomery

My goal is to be happy, and I am.
The only thing I don't have right now is someone special to share my happiness with. That doesn't make me sad, just a little lonely at times. Still, I am a genuinly happy woman. So my life goals have been met, now I just live.

i'm reading the bhagavad gita right now

as far as my aspirations i want to make money doing something decent so i can support my vast spending habits and to be healthy and zen like. I guess thats what everyone wants, though

Yeah thats kinda my ultimate goal.  In the meantime, get my degree in molecular biology, probably go to grad school,  get a good job that I can be proud of (doing something that will benefit mankind), and eventually start a family.  Gotta find a girl first for that one though.

Id like to find a job where I could afford to keep my baby daughter thats 4 months along with the most amazing women I have ever met.

Id like to have a car, any car.

Id like to not have to worry about getting money to replace my shoes.

Id like to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.

Id like to earn a degree.

Id like to have a family, take care and love them.

Well, Id like to get my pharm.D. in herpetology.

Have my own home in Munich, Deutschland.

An give my parents a good home to retire in.

Theres for sure more but all this pondering makes me wanna go on a journey

i wish i knew...
for now i just want to go with the flow and see where i end up (but mataphorically still row my own boat :smile: )
i want to make the best of my time and USE it as best i can!

i would like to live in some kind of self-sufficient farm... but the fact is i'll still need money so its got to also be a place i can use to make money for the rest of my needs...

i'd like to give something new to this world!

i've got all sorts of aspirations but unfortunatly nothing i can point my finger at and actualy work for
ummmm maybe except my didgereedo... i'd like to be a good didge player!

Finish my degree

Get a part-time job (anything as long I don't work more then 4-5- hours a day)

Live in the small house that I inherited from my grandma. Maintain it's garden and cultivate all kinds of stuff (fruit, vegetable and mushis... not MJ).

Have fast internet access.

Improve my French and then also learn portuguese.

Become a kick-ass grappler (I practice Judo and wrestling)


That's it for now. I don't have aspirations for a family yet, nor I really care about money. I feel that my time is much more precious then any ammount of money.
I took a gap year and earned loads and loads of money, but I was miserable. So I realised that money and material pocessions are useless.

I'll hopefully be spending some of next year doing ice core drilling in either Alaska or northern Canada. After that, I gotta finish up my degree. And then... I don't know. If I can't find an environmental group that suits me, I'll teach highschool. And if I end up teaching, I'll move back upstate. Either Ithaca or Saratoga. I'd like to build a house at some point. Get myself fixed so I can't accidently knock some girl up. Grow lots of drugs and just quietly enjoy life.  :smile: :smile: :smile:

My ultimate aspiration is to make enough money to live comfortably along the coast, probably in humboldt county or oregon.. working to defend the environment and bring ethics and integrit back into politics.

I want to travel to Inida, and to Europe. I think its really important to experience diversities in culture, to find what parts of each culture you resonate with, so you can take that with you.

My most primary aspiration is to experience the most intense, diverse spectrum of possibilities that I can before I die. I think following that path, will lead to my personal fulfillment and peace so I can look back on my life with a smile.
