Aspirations

What do you aspire to in life?

I mean in the long term as well, not just 'the next spliff' or whatever.

Personally, I aspire to own a nice plot of land and build my own house on it. I would like it to be big enough for me to be able to be self sufficient (i.e rear animals and grow vegetables) and for the house to be big enough that I could let my friends (which are my real family) live there for free, but in return help work the land. I would want to be completely self sufficient and in a sense start a permanent commune.

Man that would be such a beautiful tight knit community and would be an absolutely awesome environment to raise kids in. Almost like a tribe :smile:.

So what about you guys?

I aspire to grow my own poppy garden, either in my house or outside and have an unlimited supply of morphine and heroin for myself.  Then OD before I turn 30

Network with the right people and
have them all agree to start a trust fund and it
sounds kind of easy to accomplish!

All you need is teamwork and a fair ammount of time.

Cepheus, my long-term aspirations are very similar to yours!

Other aspirations include becoming either a well-known composer or to play in a band. or both!

I'd like to take playing music out a bit further than I have currently, do some recordings, play some shows, maybe tour a little bit.

Professionally, I hope to be either an arborist, or (as I've been contemplating lately) a landscape designer.  I'd like to own my own land that I can hunt and fish on, grow some food and the like.

I'm not sure if I'd live on the commune, but I'd definitely help you fellas landscape it :wink:

Publish as many book/Articles that I can in my lifetime and hopefully persuade people to start seeing things in a different way through that writing.  Maybe do some talks at colleges or other places about my books and ideas.

Traveling the world and meeting as many people as possible.

Have fun, meet people all over the world, get hundreds of thousands of people to try DMT and mescaline, then find love and live out in the wide country with friends everywhere who like to explore and throw random potlucks and BBQs for no reason at all.

It used to be inner peace, but I think I may have finally reached it. I'm not sure yet but it just might be.

Man I'm glad to see you people actually have aspirations. I've asked so many people my age what they honestly want to do with life and everyone's response is get job, make lots of money, travel the world and have kids.

It doesn't matter how unrealistic your dreams are, as long as you believe it can happen and are willing to work till your last breath to make it happen.

Come on people, don't hold out on me, tell me what you really want to do with this life you're privileged enough to have.

Thats pretty much my goal too.  I've been working towards it for a few years now, just saving / investing as much $ as possible.  I've been researching into other countries and am looking for a nice place to buy a house to do up.  Portugal is looking good at the mo!

I make electronic music so I'd like to one day have a big toon or play at some shows.

I want to travel the world at some point, I may go this year.

When/if I get old, write a book on the paranormal things that have happened in my life.

Hah man, its nice to know so many people have a similar aspiration, I think I'm gonna need a bigger plot of land :grin:.

I aspire to be in an environment full of raw love, pure emotion and true freedom of expression, free from the abstractions that society has us all indoctrinated with.

Now I have to make the transition from dream to action. The most difficult part of any aspiration, but this dream is the motivation I need to realise my potential.

I feel like Lenny from the book 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck; I just want to tend the rabbits :grin:.

Why not incorporate both. You can live for the present and work for the future too man. That's exactly what I'm doing. Live for the moment is my mantra :lol:.
