Landscaping

I don't work during the week this summer.. I'm taking summer classes, which gives me almost all day to dick around.  I have started taking side jobs planting and removing shrubs and shit. 

It's nice to be outside and working in the dirt  :stoned:


Anyone do shit like this?  Side jobs are where it's at (until I run out of side jobs)

been there, done that.

Any job where you get to use power tools is fun.

Digging holes in 90 degree heat and 100% humidity blows.

yeah the heat is a bitch, but ihave employed my self for 3 years doing just that, landscaping and side jobs,

one year i didnt make a single dollar that wasnt paid in cash, and i didnt have to pay taxes :smile:

i worked with my older cousin two summers ago, and it totally sucked. i had to sit in a cramped van and groom dogs from 8am to 7pm. it completely sucked, because it was in florida, in the dead of summer with no air conditioning, and we couldnt open the windows, because the dogs would jump out. i had to work like a mother, and i only got 1 break for 20 minutes. to make matters worse, she was only 5'5" and i was 5'9" at the time, and the van only had 5'6" of standing room. i had to have my neck cocked to the side for 13 hrs a day, and it screwed up my spine. and, if that wasnt bad enough, i was only being paid $7 A DAY!!!!!!!! it was fucking slave labor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
