Is there a strain guide ?

Hey i was just wondering if there was a webpage out there that had all the strains and the different effects such as mind fuck, viusals, and body high for each strain. I just grew my first crop of golden teacher and i loved the high better than any i have tryed but it lacked on the visuals now i wanna order a other strain anyone got any suggestions ?

They grow slightly differently. The difference in strains isn't as important as your setup. Mostly looks anyway.

As far as trips go, some will swear to more visual trips with certain kinds, or they might grow a really potent ***.

But, as far as recommending a strain, just based on the way it grew, and how well it grew with a certain setup: my favorite so far would be south american. Like I said, from the different strains I've tried,, the main difference has been looks. Some will make a lot of skinny shrooms, some make a lesser amount of big fat ones. Some look like freaks (penis envy, haven't tried).

The only one that was noticebly different was African. Slower to colonize. Weaker colonization in general, took longer to pin, and didn't fruit particularly as well. But thats for me. For someone else it could have worked wonders. The shrooms themselves were great though :smile:

Insutamaa, Magash recently posted a link to a site that had information on all strains, I believe it was just a link to another forum that Magash posts at.

Perhaps if you send him a private message asking for the link that I saw a few days ago (I'm unsure of where it was or what it was titled) he will most definately provide you with the link. Magash is a very intelligent and nice guy.

although not scientific, of the strains I have tried the Z-Strain seems to be the most visual!

I think the substrate has a lot more to do with the potency than the strain. For example I had B+ grown on PF Tek. a 3.5 gram dose gave be a solid and consistent level 3 trip. I had Malabar grown on cow poo/vermiculite mix, cased, 3.5 grams gave be a consistent level 5 and 2 grams gave me a good middle level 3 trip. I have a custom substrate mix with some added nutrients that I grew Z-Strain on. 1 gram gives a high level 2 to a low level 3 trip. 2 grams of the Z-Strain gives a high level 3, low level 4 trip.
