The Sun

Does anyone else sense this archetype when tripping?

Maybe I'm getting this as a residual thought- I just had to ask.

--------------------
What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

i get the idea that things are centralized, and everything is connected in a certain way. last time i tripped on mesc, that would have been my image of the myan/aztex calander floating above my g/fs head. that was my sun.... i wonder what will be my center tonight

Not really the sun per se, but I get the feeling of going into the center of the universe, in the outermost dimension, to what you might call "God" or "the source."

Today I ordered (from www.SacredSource.com) a statue of Mithras, the serpent-wrapped, lion-headed Roman deity that represented Sol Invictus - The Unconquerable Sun - the god that Emperor Constantine worshipped until his coerced death-bed conversion to Christianity.

C.G. Jung titled his volume 9ii 'Aion' [Aeon] and placed this image of Mithras in the frontispiece. Jung, as it turns out from recent books about him, really was something of a Sun worshipper. The Solar System is a broken off, cooled number of droplets from the Sun, and I suppose, the materialistic parallel to the central archetype of the Self, or GOD, around which all other archetypes constellate and revolve. Anyway, December 25th is the commemoration of the birth of a number of pagan deities and the 'return of the sun,' as well as the latest 'birth of the Son [of GOD].' More stuff for my cosmic collection of dust collectors I guess.

What is Sun?

If you look at it with your eyes you can discover two facts

1. its a massive ball of bright energy burning high in the sky
2. the light blinds you and you can not comprehend full magnificence of its nature

now if you follow algoriphm that earth is an entity and all people are one with the earth, then you can go further and say that earth is simply a hologram of suns radiating energy. In other words earh is sun and earth is a star.

Sort of.

Anyway, Sun is a very interesting concept, especially when you trip, even when you not trip.

Sun is energy. Get to know Sun, Shape shift into Sun.

the sun - ha
the moon - tha
as in Hatha Yoga
the sun - expression, putting out the energy , the face, or mask.
the moon- impression, perceiving through the mask, as a reflection of the sun by reaction to the mask.
together the whole yin/yang of it - symbolic of consciousness operating venturing on its path.

it is repeated in every breath,
out - Ha
in - Tha

awake or asleep we are immersed in our own paths
