I saw a good pic a few days, i will look for it now. it was a closet converted, 5 shelves, 2x4's on top, bottom and sides with the plastic sealed all the way around and then a big zipper in the middle.

A big zipper?? that has to be expensive and hard to come by..lol In this closet I want to be able to case my shrooms and have a humidifier pumping out the moisture and RH. If I have it sealed is this the way to go?? I also want to be able to do my inoculations in there to avoid contams. So I was thinking of a hepafilter.

wow just saw the picture. This is a good idea, all it is is a bag that men use to cover their suits to keep dust and moths out. I can probably rig something pretty fancy.

most people use water pipes for construction light and easy to clean for plastic you will want green house stuff its not cheap and you could use Velcro for the door or a sowed silicone on zipper theres many different glues you could use for the seams or just tape em

I would definitely use PVC pipe instead of wood. Much easier to construct and deconstruct. Plus it is much easier to clean and wipe down.

If one were to cover their walls in the closet with plastic and tack it up and tape every seam and tack one could go and buy plastic shelves at walmart and not have to build shelves out of PVC (tough to find the right elbows to make a 3-d shape like a shelve, not impossible though) and cover them in plastic. If one were to do this, it might look something like this:
One would probably put in a cool mist running 24/7 and an ultrasonic that runs for 30 minutes and then is off for 30 minutes. One would probably also put a fan in to blow around any pockets of co2 or fresh air that might be in the closet and might fan it out 1-3 times a day.
One would definatly not want to use wood anywhere in this or expose anything besides plastic to this high humidity environment.

Hard to build a lab out of shelves but those would look great inside a plastics covered PVC framed greenhouse/lab!

I think it is coming from the parlite/water tube at the bottom.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=28162&item=3843881261 is a good plastic for the walls, and pvc is the way to go.
