I don't know though the function or maintance information on terrariums. Can someone please tell me if it needs holes in the roof and how to keep it wet. Also tempatures "im growing golden teachers" and lighting.................................Also if your a wealth of information im looking to use my second flush to try a casing, any info would be greatly appericated.............Thank YOu..............Moe.shrooms

the FAQs can answer all ur questions. But ill just sum it up. In your terrarium you should maintain a steady 70-75F temp. Have humidty up like 90-100% and fan a couple times a day. Line the bottom with perlite and dont set the cake directly on it. It goes more detailed but thats a basic setup

I have a clear rubbermaid container the top is also clear, in the rubbermaid I have about two-three inches of wet perlite. I soak the perlite in tap water for a few minutes and strain using an old shirt or a strainer. I also have the addition of an aquarium bubbler in my maid. I just drilled a hole in the bottom of the bin and ran some tubing in there. Inside the tube has an airstone connected to it. I place the airstone in a big ole glass of water and h2o2. I keep a fluro directly on top of the bin. It brings the temps up to 75 degrees inside the bin.(almost perect) If you are not lucky enough to have a rubbermaid that has a clear lid you will probably need to cut a hole in the top of the bin and glue or screw a piece of plexi glass over the hole. I have also heard of people stringing christmas lights inside the top of the container too. They do not need light to fruit but they do need to be introduced to light in order to induce pinning. If no light is coming from above the cake or cakes the mushies will grow in every direction while fruiting. Just my two cents...

If you cant get plexi glass for the top of your terrarium u can cut a whole in the lid of your container anduse plastic wrap and tape it on their with like duct tape and than get a blow dryer and put it on high and it like pulls the plastic wrap real tight. for those of us that cant afford plexi glass. This is what I use and it works great.
Peace
