Inject through filter discs?
    #3217772 - 10/05/04 12:47 PM (13 years, 19 days ago)

Is it possible to inject through the "Synthetic Filter Discs" sold at MycoSupply? If not, how would one go about innoculating a jar when using them?

Thanks

I do it all the time, right through the tyvek and hole. I line up jars and do 5 at a time squirt the stuff in then go back and throw a bandaid over all 5, shake them, and move on to next 5 (sterilizing needle between 5). I like the small round band aids though the others you can cut and just use the two stick sides and get two from each band aid. Just more work with the cutting and what not.

Great, I appreciate the quick responses

Will give it a go, and patch it up with a bandaid. Thanks.
