Well, I'm glad we are all on the same page now and it feels like the one I started from and I'm glad you guys can appreciate the curiousity, fun and wierdness of this.

I see where some confusion lied, I was brining up claims made by other sources and they were being personalized to me as if I had been there and was making the first hand claim myself.

I'm reading wiccan say, "it's likely the apple will fall from the tree" and my next thought was, but it might be falling up and then I thought of the Oregon place and posted about it. My mind is wierd like that and so am I but no harm intended in it.

I mean, the story about the one in baltimore is funny. To see horses struggling going "percpetually" 'down hill and then piling up on top of each other going perceptually up hill is a riot. Thats some wierd ass funny shit.

This one in Oregon gets more wierd as Red was kind enough to add info about it. Check out the photos at this link, I saw the same demonstration on the TV show and more. In some places, you can lean and not fall like you would outside of the zone.

In these photos in the link the two guys appear to be the same hieght, but when they switch places, one is appearantly much taller then the other. Thats freaky.

The best part is, this isn't just experienced by "special people". ANYONE can go there and experience it for themselves.

I don't know. I just know after I saw the show on it and the demonstations of the weird shit there, I was left thinking 'what the fuck?" :lol:

I was wondering if anyone here had actually been to that spot.

I do want to visit it someday, I think it would be a riot.

I'd have to see the research data and experience it before I could feel okay commenting further then on what I saw on the show.

I bet you laugh a lot there.

I hear the state is beautiful with great camping and hiking. If a shroomery gathering was planned for there a year from now, I would go.

Wtf, sometimes i really don't understand some of you guys.
There are many threads on this forum about this DNA issue and i really don't see why should anyone move this threads to science and tech.
Just to refresh peoples memory, this forum was once called Spirituality, Philosophy and Science. One of those reasons was to validate - or try to validate - issues with a spiritual or philosophical meaning through scientific findings. I consider there was indeed an explosive mixture for other reasons but even after Science got its own forum, i think there's room to debate some scientific approaches over here.
What i don't consider appropriate in this thread is people going off topic with an issue of a higher degree of scientific debate, which is exactly what you were criticizing in the first place.
I will go no further with this issue, please try to be objective regarding the topic or i'll lock this thread.

I can understand if maybe there was such a strong 'vortex' that it bent visible lightwaves to give the illusion of a change in height.

Other than that, I really don't see how it could possibly work :/
