shroom trip question
    #319863 -

recently tried 1.5 (dried) grams of a friend's mexicana cubensis. after getting over the nausea (only lasted about 45-60 mins), the trip was wonderful. very introspective and plenty of visuals, etc.

however, during the come down (after 6-7 hours) i developed a very bad headache and body ache (stomach/ mid-section). it was very painful. i eventually took some advil and went to sleep.

i was wondering what could have caused that type of reaction? i've had my share of rough come downs on psychoactives, but this was the worst ever. is it the type of shrooms or more likely something that i ate or did before the trip?

i had a light mediterranean meal about 4 hours before dosing. other than that, i only drank some water and had a little fruit after plateauing.

any ideas why this happened to me? anything i should do next time to avoid the harsh come down? it was my first time taking shrooms, but i've taking lots of other psychadelics before.

thanks & peace

Who knows? Does that happen everytime you use mushrooms? Maybe you're just really sensative to the toxins in them. If it doesn't happen everytime I would suggest it was something else - or maybe one of the shrooms was a bit rotten before it got dried which would give a bit of food poisoning.

Almost everytime this comes up, it winds up having to do with bad drying.....

Sometimes my friend will get horrible stomach aches when comming down because of how active she is while tripping. Sometimes she doesn't even realize that she's flexing her stomach muscles, but when you get intense visuals you tend to flex certain parts. It sounds stupid, but try stretching before you munch. Hope I helped.

Do or do not, there is no try.
