Mushrooms still safe to eat?

Hi,
My buddy has some mushies from about 4 or so months ago. He prety sure they were fully dried, and want to know if they are still safe to eat. Please help...

Why not? So long as they were never deadly they shouldn't have become deadly after four months... hell - i know of a guy who's eaten them mushies after four years! Hopefully they were dried well enough to retain most of the "good stuff."
