Abnormally high View Counts

Take a look in the advanced cult forum....there are two day old threads there with thousands of view counts...

I have another problem the red numbers in brackets indicating new messages don't dissapear now after I've viewed the messages. They dissappear when I log off and on again still, but this deletes the red numbers even from posts I haven't read yet.

I think there might be some problem with the server.

this could very well be.. my new site has lots of visits, but i havent changed the index file from the marker the host put up as i am not finished with the site yet.
As far as i know, only 3 people have the actual web address, and i am one of them

this site doesn't get a thousand visitors a day, and even if it did, they wouldn't all be looking at the same threads...

i think someone is testing their ddos apparatus. I saw this happen just before the last big ddos attack, that's why i sound the alarm here when i see it happen again...

google wouldn't index a page with no content, and if they did the results would be very low in the search ranking... your visits may be due to someone else having the url before you, or one of the other 2 people has given it out... people at your web provider might also be checking the site for inappropriate content.
