Man, that tears my heart out!.  I have a good friend dying right now from a brain tumor.  He just had a radical operation to remove the tumor (again) after it came back with a vengance from earlier in the year.  He is paralyzed on one side, he doesn't recognize anyone, and he spends a lot of time incoherent and 'doing things' in a world of his own (he often acts as though he is working on his bikes as he is lying there - he's an old biker).

Then I stop and think about my friend (in his early 50's) and compare that to an innocent 8 year old girl! :sad: I can't imagine how hard it must be for her family, let alone the poor girl.  Life is certainly not fair.  My best wishes to all of those involved.  This hits home for me right now and I am sorry to hear it.
