Nearly 2 quarts of poppy seeds from this year's garden. There are 191,000 to 210,000 seeds per ounce of poppy seeds.

I'm doing a seed giveaway on the Marketplace, mixed good varieties:

How does everyone make tea? Is it just the pod I am after? Or should I use the stem and leaves? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I wrote up details on tea here:

For new growers:
First pic is opium poppy sprouts, about a week after coming out of the ground (1 - 4 weeks from planting), they're about a half inch high (1 cm)

Second pic is about 3 or 4 weeks later, it's 3 inches across (about 7 cm).

Note in second pic there's a smaller plant right under the poppy, on the bottom of image. That's a dandelion weed. Note the dandelion is greenish, and the poppy is blue green with a powdery look.

Once you recognize the color or poppy plants stating at about 2 weeks, they jump out at you visually, even when growing with a lot of other plants.
