Nice; how old are they?

Our quest for discovery fuels our creativity in all fields, not just science. If we reached the end of the line, the human spirit would shrivel and die. Mr minds eye, Well I cant be sure, but around between 2.5 - 3 months.
Soon they are right about to hit the budding stage, then they will "bolt"(the bud will race upwards fast, they will stay in "hook stage" for a short time, and then the sepals will fall exposing the flower and the flower will fall exposing the pod, so as you can see there is much growing to do yet.

GreenNinja, 9  and thats after killing SO MANY poppys that seemed pretty nice but because they were not spaced well and were just going to suck up nutes from the better plants , they were killed, however like I said over at poppies.org there was one under a tree and another that was almost removed , but since it had been fighting the HUGE dandelions so hard it was noticed and saved.

they look alright, but they'd do a lot better with more light, less water and some weeding ...

How can you say "Dandelions are DONE, in terms of "getting better", evolution, dandelions SEEM TO BE finished, because they are so perfect at what they do."
You could say that about anything at all and you would be completely wrong!

Read about it yourself.

And by the way the theroy of evolution is FULL of holes, I am not saying creationism is true FAR FROM IT, but evolution is about to fall and intellegent design will take its place, thats not to say evolution has no merit, its just that its 150 years old and wrong about many things.

we(human scientists) can tell, they are so good and DONT need to change, they are DONE.( and yes you could say seem to be finishes, but I dont think that they will change anytime soon or in 100 years.

You should have seen the weeds before!

And right now some N is critical.

"so just for curiousitys sake what dotn yoru belive about evolution? i find alot of people dotn belive in it because its hard to fathem millions of years."

WHAT, when did I say I dont belive in it.

I am watching the current trends in science and intellegent design is REAL, the science is stacking up and Evolution is FULL of HOLES.

Ever read Darwins Black Box, or Darwin on trial???

Or watched PBS lately???

Science is showing that its not all just natural causes , its showing an intellegent force behind...the evolution of species, and its NOT creationism!

I dont rememeber creationism talking about the recent discoveries in the deepest parts of our cells, and how the "little machines" there prove intellegent design right.

At this time in history we are at a point much like that time when many scientists belived that ATOMS EXIST , but a few still clung to the mantra of " we cant find them , they DONT EXIST"

Well intellegent design is about to blow evolution WIDE OPEN.

THATS what I THINK, and I NEVER said evolution has no effect or isntt real.

I only say that because poppies like the ground to dry out between waterings, the ones in your pics look like they're gonna have weak stems and wont be able to hold more than a couple flowers/pods as it is. I don't have any pics of my larger grows, but the ones I've had in prime spots were generally much larger/leafier/bushier when they were at that stage.

There's a plant that came up on it's own, I never watered or weeded, but it had a decent amount of light, as you can see it stayed dense and bushy and put out lots of flowers. it was still only about half the size of the bigger poppies that had full sun the year before, each of those yielded 10-20 pods/flowers or so. they like it dry, light and hot when they get to the cabbage stage.

i meant what parts of evolution you dont belive. but you answered that anyway. intelegent design or naturual selection, seems kind of close and hard to desifer teh difference.

I understand you reasoning , but I dont see that happening, last year with sickly plants in pots I saw quite nice pods(and more then one , this year I am sure I will be happ with these plants, but hey I could be wrong, but the pictures latter this year will tell the story.

I am sure I wont be let down.
