They were a bit rushed but I got what I needed as far as an ID.

Unfortunately I don't believe any Pan tropicalis is in circulation anymore.

And as far as we know the species might be endangered :frown:  Because we know so little when it comes to these organisms and there's been only two verified specimens in the last twenty years.  One of which was the holotype Scott Ostuni dug out of an herbarium.

That's really concerning! So what are folks growing, is it just cyans mostly? I'm not learn-ed in exotics yet really, pretty ignorant. How does a misunderstanding like that happen so catastrophically

Not sure what point you're trying to arrive at here. 
The dea doesn't give much of a shit about mushrooms, yeah thats probably true in lieu of the ongoing fent/meth crisis but that doesn't make the propensity of an actual big brother surveillance state any more appealing whether or not you're into drugs. If you're listening at all the language of the current administration, its starts to paint a pretty unsettling image of an actual techno-fascist situation where anyone who disagrees with things like.. Oh i don't know, proxy "wars" in gaza or full-scale war in Iran is labeled an enemy of the state etc.

The point is worrying about being raided for shrooms is not connected to the reality of how the police work. Hobby shrooms exist in a broader ecosystem of illegal activity and are at the very bottom of the totem pole. Paranoia puts us at the center of the universe but we're actually way off on the periphery.

I think often of what I posted online regarding politics and though it's nothing crazy I see a dystopian future where AI is used to go back through everything available on the internet and connect everything to everyone go full crackdown slave labor overlord on us. and it won't even be "outta nowhere" cuz we all saw it coming :frown:

also I get what you're saying islands, it's easy to get paranoid

A healthy dose of paranoia is probably a good thing but yeah. I actually have a couple cop 'friends' who will occasionally hit me up to see if they can get some shrooms for their upcoming camping trips etc.

That does sound incredibly healthy, I respect it. about a year ago I quit nicotine, weed, and alcohol at the same time and although brutal and incredibly rewarding it made it extremely and painfully obvious to me that none of those things were/are holding me back, ITS THESE DAMN PHONES :mad2:
