Been wanting to get to this one for a while. We have a considerable list of notable noobs to get through this year, but this guy stands out. I see Beli as a very potent personality. He's someone who has worn many different hats in life; an actor of profound range who has starred in many different films, per se. This is a human of of high-powered perception who isn't afraid to focus it on himself and I really admire that. Although he's been a member since '22, we haven't seen a whole lot of him until fairly recently and so the council really wanted to show our appreciation.

Years go on and on and I just love waking up and seeing guys like this posting their thoughts and ideas. This is what we keep this place alive for. Guys like Beli are the life-blood of the org and we are very lucky to have him with us here. Really cool concept, Mycolab. I can't wait to see it develop.

Bud, I hope you don't mind my sharing a summary of what we've talked about in PM's a bit. I think its a powerful message and I think a lot of people would do well to hear it: I know you've felt like an outsider for a big part of your life and its hard to be a human of uncommon perception and feel like you have a home anywhere, but you'll always have a home here with the rest of us outsiders. I think most of us have felt that way before and I think thats part of what makes this community rare and special. We're all freaks of nature here and when I really think about, nature itself is just freaky as fuck and I'm really glad that you found your way to us.

Thanks for everything pard. Please let us know if theres anything we can do for you.

When I saw Beef's message I nearly had an anxiety attack. Then, reading this, I broke into a sweat, my mouth went dry, and I ended up shedding a few tears. If I'd known, I wouldn't have had coffee beforehand.

I don't know what to say, honestly. I wasn't expecting this. I even feel embarrassed, which is pretty rare for me.

But anyway, let's see... Here's how I actually see it:

Every new number that shows up here is really a small victory for this community. It shows that those of you who make up this community, who are investing your time, energy and patience in outreach, research, experimentation and complicated human relationships, are achieving one of the most valuable things in life, which is TEACHING.

Teaching how to progress, how to let go of old ideas, how to cultivate, how to have that precious patience, curiosity, imagination, sense of humor, character, strength: to CULTIVATE in the broadest sense of the word.

So first of all, I thank THE WHOLE COMMUNITY for all the wisdom shared and the support offered.

At the end of the day, I'm just a sensitive little twerp armored up in his emotional tank who, without guidance from more experienced people, would still be going around in circles around the lamppost, trying to reinvent the wheel over and over (which I'll still keep doing, but less).

Next, I'd like to thank PastyWhyte for busting my balls at the start with that shark metaphor. You're growing on me more and more, man. Mateja for motivating me, it was a really valuable push (Where did you go?). Kloakk for everything. AgarWedge for being an unshaven cheese (just how I like it). That Stardew Valley nerd... Also Huskies, for being there. Cakewonder for "DO MORE PF-TEK" (and making me laugh). Tri for spreading their good vibes. veggie, because a balanced diet needs its greens.

TheTao, bluescreen, ReverendMyc, LadysKnight, Fid, Churp, Scemi, kingboomer, flapping_brid... Damn, I could go on and on, because many of you have been present in my life daily these past few months. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Beef, I've saved you for last... Above all, I want to thank you for the friction. Friction that sands down the rough edges. And there are moments when that's exactly what's needed most.

May I keep cultivating here; it's thanks to all of you. I hope I don't piss you off too often.

It's a true gift to come back to cultivation after 10 years, and in this context.

On a side note... I'm a #76?

You guys are my most human humans!
Long live Shroomery!

Hugs
