Just make sure to double check your stove's weight limit! That beast of a tank of a behemoth of a pressure cooker is something like 25lbs on its own.

I stumbled upon this induction coil on AliExpress the other day, and for €5, I was curious. I just hooked it up provisionally and printed a quick housing for it. The initial test run was promising. If it proves reliable, I’ll assemble it properly—but the scalpel really does glow red-hot within a second.

Yes, it’s printed too; I’ve made quite a few of them. I spray them thoroughly with 3% hydrogen peroxide, place them between sheets of aluminum foil, and let it sit for 15 minutes. It works very well.

I made a couple deeper trays for my dehydrator. They use the same "double hull" design as the original trays. Air can circulate up through the outer wall and out of the center channel same as before. These are about 4" deep.

It's technically not MY equipment, but I have access to this bad boy at work. It's an iCombi combi-oven we use at work to cook creme brules, cheesecakes, etc. I ran one test batch in half-gallon jars, and took them out after 5 hours. Last night I ran the first fruiting block batch and let it sit overnight. I guess I didn't realize that the way I programmed it ended up keeping the 160F temp for 13 hours. The kitchen boss and I made a dedicated program with cooldown stage this morning. These blocks were 2 quarts each, so that program was labeled "Pasteurize - Small". So when I'm ready to do larger blocks, I'll make a "Medium" and "Large" program as well. I just let another guy at work who grows know that we've been cleared to use the equipment, and he was just as excited as I was. :cool:

I think I may have read one of your threads about the sous vide methond. I was thinking about doing that, but didn't want to spend any more money since I've spent a good amount on the tote system. Then it just dawned on me one day that I could use this beast.

Game changer! I could do at least 12x five pound bags, or 8x ten pound bags:header:
